Taema cross training

Cross Training Session with Taema Taekwondo

On Wednesday, May 8th, members of the CSU East Bay Taekwondo program traveled down to San Jose for a cross training session with Taema Taekwondo led my Master Andrew Suh. During the 2 hour session our members had the opportunity to train with other athletes of various ranks in footwork, strategy and free sparring. We definitely look forward to having another training opportunity with Taema and thank you again for hosting us for this first cross training event.

Coach Gilbert Martinez leaving CSUEB Taekwondo Program

Coach Gilbert Martinez recently left the CSU East Bay Taekwondo Program and relocated to Las Vegas to pursue an opportunity to work with Nonito Donaire (currently the 7th ranked pound for pound boxer in the world). We wish him all the best in his new position. The expertise he brought with him when he joined the coaching staff a year and a half ago has made a tremendous impact on both the students, athletes and program as a whole. Below is a picture of the program at a farewell dinner hosted for Coach Martinez.
